Hands-on Volunteer Events

➢Assembled 300 Easter Baskets at the Toy Rescue Mission

➢Collected “Go-Bag” items such as socks, leggings, sweatshirts and T-shirts for Family Renewal Shelter to be used when families are removed from abusive living conditions

➢Participated in 2 days of Back-to-School Backpack give away for HopeSparks

➢Volunteered at Hope Sparks 130th year anniversary gala dinner/auction at the Tacoma Marriott

➢Wrapped over 150 Christmas gifts for Family Renewal Shelter and HopeSparks adopted families at our own holiday dinner

➢We volunteered at Sunny Skies Animal Rescue in Graham, WA. Cleaned and organized.

➢Made 40 lap blankets and donated them in the memory of our club member, Patty Moore, at Fresenius Dialysis Clinic

➢Volunteered at the Hope Sparks annual gift shopping event for children and families

Other items of interest

➢A Club member asked her friends and family for children’s underwear for her own 72nd birthday and donated 400+ pairs to the Hope Sparks Closet

➢Our club members adopted two families from the Family Renewal Shelter (8 people) and one family from HopeSparks (6 people + 1 cat) and shopped for over 150 gifts, paid out of our own Club Members pockets
